NHS Long Term Plan survey now closed

Thank you to all Reading people who took the time to share their views on healthy living, NHS priorities and your own care needs. The survey closed on 30 April 2019 and we will be making findings public in the summer.

The more people share their ideas, experiences and concerns, the more services can understand what works, what doesn't and what people want from care in the future.

Active Reading consultation by Reading Borough Council

Launched 18 July 2019 and ends 14 August 2019

The council is running a two-month consultation to find out how it can help tackle inactivity by local people. One in three adults don't take part in the minimum recommended 30 minutes of physical activity a week, and obesity, particularly amongst young people, is a real concern, says the council. It is particularly keen to hear from people who don't currently lead active lives, to find out how the council can help them to get more active and encourage them to try new sports or activities. If you already take part in sport or physical activity, the council also wants to know what works for you and what you would like to see improved.
