We held a focus group with 13 ‘young carers’ aged 7-19, in December 2013 to understand the impact of the practical or emotional support they give to parents or siblings with disabilities or long-term health needs.

The views of young people on the specialist school nursing service
In response to concerns raised by the Reading Youth Cabinet about access to mental health support, we surveyed 170 young people at 13 secondary schools across the town, about their awareness and contact with specialist school nurses.
