What would you do to improve the NHS?

The NHS in Reading is changing, and it needs your help.
The Government is investing an extra £20bn a year in the NHS until 2023. You can help decide how that money should be spent in our local NHS by taking part in a new online survey.
What would you do to make the NHS better in Reading? How would you make it easier for people to take control of their own health and wellbeing? What would you do to make support better for people with long-term conditions?
As well as encouraging people to take the survey, Healthwatch Reading will be holding in-depth focus groups over the next eight weeks to gather your thoughts, views and stories about what matters most.
Now is the time to share your ideas and experiences to help make local health services better for everyone in Reading.
How will your views make a difference?
- The survey and focus groups are being run in every part of the country in March and April in a project agreed between Healthwatch England and NHS England
- All NHS decision-making and funding bodies must use their area's survey and focus group findings to inform plans on how they will spend their share of new NHS cash
- Healthwatch Reading will work with the Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS) and the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) to ensure plans reflect people's hopes and needs
