Reading travel clinic providing 'good' service

The private MASTA Travel Clinic in Reading has been rated 'good' in all areas following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission 9CQC).

In a report published on 13 December 2019, the CQC said the service was safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive. The CQC had also received positive feedback on all 13 comment cards handed out to patients during the inspection.

MASTA stands for Medical Advisory Services for Travellers Abroad, a Leeds-based company which has been runinng travel clinics across England for the past 30 years.

The Reading travel clinic is based in Centurion Court, London Road, and is open on Mondays and Tuesdays and due to open on Fridays in the future. It offers advice and vaccinations for people travelling abroad.

The CQC is the national independent body that checks the quality of health and social care services and has legal powers to request improvements.
