Radis home care agency in Reading is now rated overall as 'good' after a follow-up inspection to check whether it had improved.

In a report published on 3 January 2020, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) said 'we found improvements had been made and the provider was no longer in breach of regulations'.

During two previous visits, the CQC had said it was concerned about lack of checks to monitor late arrival times by care home workers, medicines handling and inaccurate care records.

However systems and changes had been put in place, and people told the CQC they felt safe.

At the time of the latest inspection, on 16 December 2019, Radis was providing regular visits to 49 people to help them with getting washed, staying clean, and other tasks.
