We're appealing to Reading people to share messages of thanks and other feedback about the NHS and social care services they have used during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We appreciate that the NHS and social care services such as home help and nursing homes, are under much greater pressure at this time," said Mandeep Kaur Bains, chief executive of Healthwatch Reading. "So our new survey gives people the chance to leave a message of thanks to any key worker who’s helped them with any health or care need during this time."
How to give your feedback
If you don’t have internet access: call us on 07786 476 257 and we’ll book a time for one of our staff to do the survey with you over the phone.
The survey closes 6 July 2020.
The survey also gives people a chance to share their feedback about video consultations, if they have been offered these as an alternative to visiting their GP, hospital clinic or mental health service.
We're also keen to find out why people might have avoided seeking help for new health problems from their GP or A&E, so services can understand what information or reassurance the public needs to return to using these in the future.
Ms Bains added: "We'll share findings with local services to help them see how much they've been appreciated at this difficult time, and to hear any feedback or suggestions about alternative methods of using services as lockdown eases."
