First meeting of local Covid board to take place

A special Reading Borough Council board set up to deal with any future local outbreaks of Covid-19, will meet for the first time on September 4.

Members of the public will be able to send questions in advance to the meeting and also follow it live online.

Healthwatch Reading is a co-opted member of the Reading Covid-19 Outbreak Engagement Board. It is being chaired by Councillor Graeme Hoskin (pictured aboved) and also includes representatives of the NHS, public health, voluntary sector, police and social services.
