Vaccinations of priority patients have now begun in every neighbourhood in Reading.

The first hub launched in mid-December, with the final and fifth one starting on Saturday 16 January 2021.

Start dates have differed due to doctors waiting for vaccine delivery dates beyond their control, as well as the time needed to get venues, staff and volunteers ready.

Surgeries are working together in their area’s primary care network (PCN) to deliver vaccines from one designated site for all patients, meaning you may have to travel a little further to get it.

Surgeries are urging patients not to call to ask for appointment dates and wait to be contacted instead.
