First local pharmacy approved as vaccine site

Triangle Pharmacy in Tilehurst has become Reading's first chemist shop to be approved as a Covid vaccination site.
Approved pharmacies can offer vaccines to people in priority groups who have made appointments via the NHS national booking system. They are separate from the vaccine hubs run by primary care networks (groups of GP surgeries) who invite their own patients for a jab when it's their turn.
Reading has five PCN-run sites, as well as the new pharmacy venue.
Triangle Pharmacy published photos of its new set-up on its Facebook page, showing cutained off vaccination cubicles. The pharmacy said it was still open for other business as usual, with a one-way system in place through the shop.
Triangle is run by the Enimed Group.
