'Requires Improvement'

Jasmine House, west Reading
Type of service: nursing home for people aged 65+
Key findings: Improvements had been made since the last inspection - in the areas of being safe, caring, responsive and well-led - and the home was no longer in breach of care regulations. A new manager had been appointed but they weren't yet registered with the CQC.
Evidence: The CQC spoke with 10 members of staff, six residents and five relatives during the inspection and also observed interactions between staff and people and looked at care and staff records.

Type of service: Home care (visits to people's homes to assist with personal care
Key findings:  Medicines not safely managed, care plans and records not up to date
Evidence: The CQC spoke with one client and three staff and looked at paperwork
