Your frustrations about access to GP services have made the headlines.

Healthwatch Reading was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire on the morning of 22 July 2021 discussing the findings of our new survey answered by Reading people. The coverage included two anonymous case studies shared by local people about problems booking appointments in advance or getting to see a GP in person. Two Berkshire GPs were also interviewed about the current pressures of their work.

The Reading Chronicle also reported on a presentation to we gave to councillors and about the findings on July 16 in which we higlighted the variation in experience by people living in different parts of Reading.
