Two adult social care services used by Reading locals have been recently inspected by the CQC, and we want your feedback if you or a family member have used these services.
1. Downshire House (Aston Care Ltd) has been rated "inadequate." This means the service is
performing badly and the CQC has taken enforcement action against the provider of the
service.
This was a targeted inspection by the CQC to follow up 2 warning notices served at
the previous inspection about safeguarding people from abuse and proper treatment and the need for consent. We use targeted inspections to follow up on Warning Notices or to check concerns.
